Club Promotion & Push Play Workshops

  • Is your club experiencing dwindling membership?
  • Is there a need to re-invigorate your membership?
  • Does your club have a promotion plan?
  • Does your club know what “Push Play” is?

In the current environment where there is so much choice, the need to professionally promote Sport and Sports Clubs has never been greater. The desire to be continually creative and innovative is essential to meet the needs of current and prospective club members.

Sport Wellington Region will be facilitating two interactive workshops focusing on Club Promotion and Push Play. One workshop will be held at the Pelorus Trust Sports House in Lower Hutt on September 10th and the second workshop will be held at Sport Wellington Region on the 22nd, both run from 7pm to 8.30pm.

Attendees’ will be given the opportunity to share best practice and will take away from these workshops a selection of resources and ideas to help promote their sport and clubs effectively, in the 21st Century.

Congratulations to Sue Dymond of the Masterton Swimming Club.
Sue is an amazing Treasurer! She keeps meticulous records, has financial goals for the club, and is aware of all financial matters.  Swimming is a 50 week year round sport, which means Sue is busy all year on swimming matters. The club has been much better off financially under Sue as Treasurer.
