Pelorus Trust Stadium Sports Festival22 March 2010 (postponement day 23rd March) - Westpac Stadium The Stadium Sports Festival is an annual event which provides an opportunity for more than 600 children from different schools around the Wellington Region to participate and be exposed to a variety of sports in the hope that they will find a sport that they enjoy and become more physically active. Sport Wellington organizes the SSF with the help of coaches and deliverers from up to 20 different sports across 20 delivery stations. |

Heart WalkersSaturday 7th November - Start and finish at Waitangi Park Join the Heart Foundation and Sport Wellington on the 5km walk around the Wellington Waterfront. The event starts and finishes at Waitangi Park on Cable Street and is completely flat and accessible for all. Help us stomp our heart disease and raise funds for the National Heart Foundation. |

The Dominion Post Wellington Sportsperson of the Year Awards 2010Thursday 3rd June - Wellington Town Hall The Dominion Post Wellington Sportsperson of the Year Awards is organised by Sport Wellington and has become one of the prestigious events on the Wellington Sporting calendar. This event is attended by around 600 people held in late May or early June each year. |

Sport Wellington Buggy Walk 2010Thursday 7th October - Botanic Gardens The Sport Wellington Buggy Walk event is aimed at mothers, fathers, grandparents and caregivers with children under the age of 5. Monthly walks are held around the region on the first Thursday of each month, with a main event in October of each year. 2009 saw 800 children, parents, grandparents and caregivers attend. |
