Sport Wairarapa Coach of the Month May

Congratulations to swimming coach, Anna Kitching. Anna is a fantastic coach! She goes to each session extremely well prepared, she researches and reads on ways she can improve. Anna is always enthusiastic, which is very admiral about a swimming coach as they can have 10 sessions a week. Anna also has a real passion for the swimmers to achieve their best.

When long-time coaches Jiri & Olga announced they would be returning to Slovakia, Anna agreed to be trained up by Jiri and take over his senior squads. She comes from a strong netball coaching background but very little swimming. In the 6 months she has been coaching she has built the top squads from 9 to 15 swimmers and seen significant improvement in her swimmers results.
